When you’re called to serve, just say yes.
This has been the story of my life for more than 7 years now. It’s something I learned from Bro Bo Sanchez.
That’s why when a friend called me up to represent her in a talk last Saturday—-although I was a bit hesitant—I said yes.
How can I say no to service?
But hey, everything changed when I learned who the other speakers were. I’m telling you, I got really scared!
Who would have thought I’d be sharing the stage with the likes of Chinkee Tan??
Don’t get me wrong though. I love public speaking! But I never expected it to be this early.
But then again, I remember what Bro Bo Sanchez would always say…
“When you’re called to serve, just say yes. “
But here’s what gave me a huge confidence booster…
When I asked my friend what compelled her to reach out to me? She said something along these lines…
“March, I thought of the best person to represent me, and I thought of you. “
Boom! It’s the trust coming from my friend that propelled me to give my all. To be at my best. After all, I represent her.
Praise Jesus, I was able to pull it off!
It really helps when somebody believes in you.
Friend, that’s also God’s message for you. Not only does He believes in you, but you also represent Him.
You’re a God carrier.
If you still have doubts about what you’re capable of doing, here’s a little secret…
Christ lives in you.
Here’s the truth: The Bible says you carry a package in your heart. God is your package.
Protect your package. Guard it with your life. Because there will be many thieves that will try to steal God’s Presence from your life.
Return to the Lord. God is already in you.
When you’re called to serve, just say yes,
March Nacino
