So, you’ve probably heard of the line “Failing to plan is planning to fail.”
In any case, there’s a good chance you’ll get to encounter more of that as we go.
Did this ever happen to you?
You have this thing you’ve been wanting to start…
A blog perhaps.

You’re so pumped up! Ahhhh, at long last, you’ll get to share your message to the world!
Heck, you even shared it to most of your friends.
Sure, you’re so much capable of doing it.
But because things came in the way, all of a sudden, you just totally forgot about it.
3 years passed by before you later realized…
…that you should have launched it 3 years ago!
Guess what?
I used to be a victim of this. Not just once but many times.
But something happened that changed everything.
It is my hope that through my real-life lessons, it will encourage you to really plan for your life.
It is my belief that failing to plan is planning to fail!
I remember this one fateful day…
My sister and I thought of cleaning our place. Oh man, a lot of things had to be decluttered!
Out of nowhere, I saw this notebook next to my door…
I was about to throw it away when something in me was telling to give it a quick look first.
I started browsing it…
…and here’s what I found out!
Notes from the seminars I attended. Some of my declarations.
Okay, that doesn’t sound so interesting…
But there’s something inside that notebook that left me in awe!
I saw some of my daily schedules way back 2014 and 2015!
And here’s what really caught my attention…
As I was browsing my notes, it reminded me of how I was when I started my online career.
I realized the major transition in my career from those 2 years I’ve done it. Thank God, I was able to write them down!
There’s really power in writing!
It was Dan Kennedy who once said, “if you don’t plan your day, someone else will.”
That was when it even made sense to me…
“Failing to plan is planning to fail.”
Now, I wonder what transitions and transformations had I put myself into had I done it consistently for 5 years.
But you see, there’s nothing I can do with the past.
But do you know what’s the good thing about this?
I may not have consistently executed my daily journalling, but there’s something I do instead.
Weekly planning.
I also shared this in my previous post. (you can read how I make most of my time every Friday planning in the link below )

Oh how I love Fridays!!
Not only that it’s the end of the week for me. More so, because it gives me time to just be me. To attend to my own needs!
Just when most people are busy, I make it a point to go to Starbucks to assess my goals. (Please know that this is not a sponsored post. ) 😉
I’m an ambivert type of person. While I love to socialize with people, I always see to it that I have a non-interrupted moment with me.
Just me.
This is when I get to write down my goals. Assessed what went well during the past week. And of course, what needs to be improved for the following week.
And that’s when I do the necessary adjustment.
I tell you, it works like magic.
Friday is my most productive day of the week thus far!
You see…
It’s really important for me that I plan my whole week.
While I really believe it’s important that I get to plan every Friday, this is what I believe it the main key…
EXECUTION!
This is of extreme importance!
It doesn’t matter how many times you plan. Because unless you put them into action, everything will all be put to waste!
Do you also plan your week? How do you usually do your planning?
Feel free to share them in the comments below.
I want to end by giving you this reminder from one of my favorite quotes (which you already know by now)…
“Failing to plan is planning to fail.”
