Meet the Author

So you’re probably here to meet the author? 😀

Hey, there! My name is March Nacino. I’m the author of this blog The Content Leader.

Meet the authorAllow me to share with you a little something about myself.

My life had no direction then.

I was an unemployed nurse who wanted to try his luck abroad as a seaman.

However, after months of applying, I still couldn’t see any sign of me leaving the country. 2 months..3 months… But to no avail!

I decided to apply for other openings abroad because I was already frustrated with waiting.

Every day, for 8 straight weeks, I would walk in the streets of Malate Manila just to submit an application under the scorching heat of the sun and vast overflow of rain.

So I resorted to working in a call center.

Until after 6 months, they had to lay off some agents.

I was one of them.

I remember, at the age of 26, I went to another call center company applying for the same position. That was the lowest point of my life. I was 26.

But there I was, with other applicants, most were fresh grads. Some were even 17 or 18 years old while there I was, 26 years old and starting from scratch. Ouch!

Search for a solution

I was desperate to have a job!

Good thing, my sister Sha Nacino mentioned a seminar that I might be interested in. How to work from home as a Virtual Assistant.

I remember, the seminar was on Saturday and the following day, I did not waste any time. From scratch, I started everything. I woke up at 6 am and ended at 12midnight. Sometimes, I would hope there were 30 hours/day just to fast track everything.

I was that desperate. For 2 straight weeks, I did not stop.

Lo and behold, after that, I got my first client. And another. And another.

After a year, I thought it would be best to upgrade my skills and level up my career. That’s when I enrolled in a course offered by the International Institute for Digital Marketing (IIDM) and that’s when I got certified as a Digital Marketing Specialist with expertise in Social Media Marketing.

Slowly, inch by inch, my finances began to improve. My mindset changed as well.

And as they, the rest is history.

My intention of putting up this blog

I realized I have so many stories to share. Real-life experiences and stories that could lift people’s spirits up. Stories that they could relate to. Hence, the birth of this blog.

It is my hope that through my real-life lessons, you’ll get to find your life mission!
