A little over a month ago, I went to El Nido Palawan.
It was one of those times I needed to unwind!
“Hey March, don’t you dare miss small lagoon and big lagoon when you get to El Nido Palawan…
That place looks like heaven! Just do bring extra money with you during the tour. ”
That was what my friend told me before heading to El Nido Palawan…
Wooohooo! I was that excited!
Then came the tour…
…and the small lagoon! I could feel the adrenaline rushing through my vein!
“Sir/Ma’am, there are 2 options in order to get to the lagoon..You can swim all the way there with your life vest on…Or you can rent a kayak for only P600.”
In my mind, I thought I can choose the latter…
But there was a problem…
I only brought P1000 with me! (hmmmmn, I also have to buy for my food…oh and my fare going back to the hotel!)
But something in me was telling…
“The view here in this boat where I’m at is already quite stunning. I’ll just take pictures from here. 600 PHP might be a total waste of money!”
Which I did!
I chose not to pay 600 neither to choose the option to swim…
…and settled with the view outside the lagoon! (in fairness, the view right outside would suffice)
I did the same thing when we got to big lagoon.
I ended the whole day trip happy! (well, sort of…)
When I got to my hotel, I got really curious what was inside the small and big lagoon…
…so I asked my friend Google!
What I saw next blew my mind!
Seriously???
See what happened there?
I waited for several months just to get to El Nido Palawan.…only to miss the best spot!
I know, right? I should have brought enough money with me!
Does this resonate with you?
You see…
There are times, in life, you have this beautiful view of success in mind..
You want a wonderful life…
You want to experience the feel of success!
But you’re not willing to pay the price.
Only to get tempted to choose the easy way out.
And you couldn’t help but wonder why nothing is happening???
My Uncle Albert Einstein would always say…
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.”
Friend, success comes with a price.
Success doesn’t come to you on a silver platter.
You need to be willing to put in the hard work.
You need to act!
You need to learn how to swim.
That’s what makes everything sweeter!
See you at the top!
Rooting for you,
March
