“March, the unit’s still under construction. So we couldn’t move in yet” 🙁
We were disappointed!
You see…
My sister and I were already expecting to move to our new home then. That was January 2018. We were at the peak of excitement!
But it had to go through interior finishing still.
Finally, after four months came the turnover! As a protocol, we had to be there to inspect.
It’s kinda funny how a bare piece of property used to look like.
The flooring was rough.
The ceiling was rugged.
The rooms had patches in them.
To put it in simpler words? It didn’t look homey.
Four months felt like an eternity because we were very eager to move at that time. <(forgive my impatience 😀 )
That made it really hard for me to imagine…that in four months time, things will eventually look awesome. And true enough, it did!
Sometimes it’s easy to appreciate things when they look great.
But not when things look blurry!
Have you ever felt the same way in your life?
It’s easy to love your situation when they look just fine.
But it’s hard to feel good when you have to mend the broken pieces of your life.
And it’s even harder to feel homey when things are rough.
But as cliche as it may sound…Your life is under construction!
You have to deal with the rough edges.
You have to put through the grind.
You have to go through the pain of under construction.
But hold on. Because here’s God’s promise for you and me…
One day, all will be well.
You’ll soon see the masterpiece.
For God, you’ve already won,
March Nacino
P.S. Trust the process. 🙂
